Happy Holidays from Zeno Crew
It’s almost Christmas and by the way Happy Hanukkah to you all. We’re all spread out across the country, but we still have tips for you this holiday season so pay attention you all!
Zeno Turkey Tips (compliments of Lee Anne Wong):
• Make sure if your turkey is frozen you give it ample time to thaw. Allow time for brining your bird also.
• Plan out your menu carefully, making sure you can prepare at least 2-3 days in advance to help make the main day hassle free.
• Be a list fanatic: shopping lists, prep lists, main event timetable. If you’re organized, then you have nothing to worry about.
• Make your bird the day before. Gently reheat in the oven the day of and serve with gravy.
• If you are cooking for a large group, buffet style is an easy option for dinner.
• Ask your friends to do a potluck style dinner!
• Clean as you go. It’ll prevent the giant pile up at the end of the meal.
• Keep it green! Go Zeno Supper Club style and ask everyone to bring their own plate, cutlery, and cup! And don’t forget to compost! but looking forward to getting back together in the New Year! We’re thinking either a dessert Zeno or a potluck so you can all show off your cooking skills. Which do you think would be better?
