Tru Vodka — A trip to the Factory

During our Art Night (Wednesday September 9th) we were lucky enough to have Litty Mathews and Melkon Khosrovian, the husband and wife team behind Tru Vodka, visit the Zeno Supper club. Not only were they charming, kind, and bearing free vodka — they also really intrigued me with their message of sustainable, environmentally friendly liquor. Buttermilk lovin’ is what I got.

One of the best things about New York is the time when the temperature begins to drop, and you start wearing sweaters and scarves. I went upstate this past weekend with some friends, one of who owns a farmhouse in the Catskills he visits every now and then. It was chilly, in the 50s, and I hunkered down with some pals for a few days of relaxation, warm fires, and good ol’ country cooking.
